We are going to hear all about the demise of the SEC from pundits and hacks. They smell blood and the sharks circle. The truth is that there are other teams in the SEC not named Bama.

The problem with that is that other SEC teams, outside of Alabama and Auburn, have failed to do anything in the past five years. Sure, some of your teams beat us, but then what do you have to show for it? Playoffs? BCSNCG? Only SEC team that has experienced that recently outside of UA is Auburn.

I think tSEC declining is a fair argument when one or two teams have been doing the heavy lifting, and those teams aren't as good this year.

Well it's gonna end sometime. I think Saban has one more SECC in him if Barnett turns out as advertised.

One of the things that hasn't been talked about much is how mediocre out OL has been other than CRob. Kelly got abused last night as did Shank.

Just wait to see how they act when there are no longer 70 4-star and 5-stars showing up for a big conference matchup after Saban retires or no longer recruiting top 5 classes and fall back to getting classes ranked in the 20's like they did prior to Saban.

But like I said earlier in the thread, great programs rise, fall, rise, fall, rise, fall, rinse and repeat.

Ole Miss' conference? You mean like last year when we dropped a game and still won the conferece and went to the playoffs?

Ole Miss still hasn't been to the conference title game since it partioned back in 1992.

Ole Miss hasn't won anything of note since the days of segregation.

I don't care for Forde that much either. I just thought it was an interesting and provocative article, and made some points worth thinking about. If people want to use it as a springboard for trash-talking, they can do that too.

Show me a serious Bama fan claiming Henry for Heisman. I'm not saying there haven't been any but I don't know the first Bama fan saying that.

You're the one diminishing the win but that's typical. Hard to act like you've been there when you haven't.

I think this might be Saban's worst team since 2007 but I'd bet money right now that OM doesn't make it to Atlanta.

Talent is the only thing keeping Bama in the conversation now. 6 or 7 number 1 cases in a row and cant field a QB or secondary if pathetic.

Bama can basically pick who they want in recruiting and we are about to go 3 years with a disappointing season.

tDecline is real. No team in history has recruited like that. Should not lose a game

And I think we can end the "Henry for Heisman" talk. He is a freight train. Can't turn left or right.

You can't be serious? Obviously they aren't saying it after last night. But are you claiming that you and the media weren't buying Henry being the next big thing at running back? Pretty sure he was being talked about like he is the front runner last week. And what happened to Drake being the X factor last night? Our Defense somehow was being overlooked because of the 70 points every game. But we are even better than we were last year on D. Just give us a good win and yall shake it off and worry about Georgia. No more what if's

I know the rant is just a bull shite fest now days but the over reaction is still pretty incredible. I will enjoy the Saban reign at Alabama for the entirety. He puts a team on the field every single Saturday that has a chance to win a football game. Can't complain at all about that. Great win Ole Miss you took the bull by the horns for a second straight year.

While I agree that the QB situation is perplexing I am not worried about our secondary. We played three freshman and with Tucker coaching them full time that unit is going to be beastly.

Alabama won the SEC and made the playoffs last season. For fricks sake some of you have completely left reality.

Once Georgia beats Bama in 2 weeks, they'll no longer be in the discussion.

Forde wrote the same article about Calipari in March 2014, after that UK made back to back Final Fours. Don't read that moron.
