You see more Bama shite since Saban arrived and they've been winning.

Not to mention, most of the Bama fans in LA rep it because it's cool right now. I know a bunch of them that like Bama because they dislike LSU.

I'm not worshipping Saban at all, I hate the guy but I'm not going to lie and say Les is a better coach than Saban.

LSU pride is intense arse frick in New Orleans. Leading up to when Bama and LSU were playing for the 2012 title, I had a Barriere crew that quit calling by my name, and just called me Bama for a month. At one point on a billion+ dollar construction project, I had a boss that had a an LSU hard hat who didn't go to LSU.

I've lived all over the south, and I've never met any fanbase that was more intense. You really don't have a damn clue.

I don't knowbthat I fully agree with what you are saying but I will say this about Alabama. Alabama has something that LSU does not have and that something is Auburn!

Auburn is as much of a part of Alabama football as Bear Bryant. It is a very unique situation to have two powerhouse football schools in the same state. So rare that it's the greatest rivalry in college football and only a hater would question that.

Also, we have no pro team if any kind in Alabama so college football is king. You are pretty much determined to be an Alabama or Auburn fan at birth And the rivalry is what makes people display their loyalty in a flag or number sticker. I also thing that is contagious. I see a lot of flags and stickers from other SEC schools when I go home to Birmingham and I think those fans of other schools have been drawn into the Alabama/ Auburn culture and feel the need to display their loyalty. Just my opinion.

Obviously you have never been to Alabama. Your definition of "everywhere"is quite different than what you see in Alabama.

And you, quite obviously, have never been to all parts of Alabama. I live in Baldwin County and there is a large mix of all SEC fans. Gulf Shores and Orange Beach along with Foley are overwhelmingly Bama but Fairhope is mostly Auburn with a lot of Bama and LSU and Daphne/Spanish fort area I mostly see LSU shite on peoples cars. You also see a lot of Georgia and Florida shite throughout the county as well.

If the success of the team depends on flags, banners and bumper stickers, LSU should he in the championship hunt annually. My area in southwest Louisiana is saturated with them. I regularly travel from southeast Louisiana to San Antonio / Laredo areas and all points in between, for work, and there's definitely not a shortage of them in Texas either. Hell, there are even a couple of LSU flags flying in a small town in Michigan I visit from time to time.

The biggest difference between Alabama and LSU's success is that LSU can't really find it when Alabama has been good.

Last time Alabama lost more than 10 games? 2007. Last time LSU won a national championship? 2007.

And of course, when LSU had a bit of success in 2011, at the end of the day it came tumbling down to - Alabama.

So you went through all this trouble to tell us you live in a golf course community outside of NOLA?

I live in Bama, I don't see all the fandom u speak of. I see as many Auburn fans as bama. But when u win like bama.U get a lot of band wagoners. I could not find a bama fan after the Ohio St. game so I light them up with a big Roll Tide.

Alabama football is all they have in the state of Alabama. We have the Saints, I guarantee if there were no saints, it would be Lsu football talk all the time. Just like in Alabama, it's Bama football all the time

Timberlane CC pimping. In BR for biz 4 times a month for 10 years. Hosting throw downs for his daughter's medical staff at his joint. All these trying too hard references made in one thread.

By a guy whose been a member for less than 90 days. With less than 60 posts.

Who also tells us he is super low key about his allegiances and doesn't talk trash about being a Bama Fan. Who also tells us his super scientific research tells him he doesn't see stickers and flags in his CC neighborhood in Gretna. Who buttresses that ironclad, peer reviewed data with the double blind study he conducted on the vicinity of Baton Rouge North of I-10.

Which is conclusive evidence that reduces LSU's competitiveness and increases Bama's. He's talking about stickers and flags like this is the New England Journal of Medicine discussing a peer reviewed study on Cancer Drugs or some shite.

If this guy could try any fricking harder about telling us how he doesn't try too fricking hard, he would create some rip in the continuum of space time and hopefully pull his own life force through it into an as yet undiscovered 4th dimension where we could no longer see, hear or read the massive sucking sound that accompanies his existence.

OP-Congrats on sucking at life.

You are insane. I've lived in Tennessee, Georgia, Louisiana and Florida. LSU by far had the most visibility in the state than any of the others. That's in terms of people wearing apparel, house flags, decals on cars, etc. It honestly wasn't even close. Heck, the first time I ever landed in Louisiana, all the Southwest employees at the NOLA airport were decked out in LSU gear for gameday.

In fact, I'd say we rep our school more than almost any other fan base in the country, and I bet many other SEC fans on here would agree.

You are either living under a rock, or are delusional.

Are you blind? I also live in a suburb of New Orleans and there's LSU signs, stickers, p&g fleur de Lis, etc everywhere. So many men wear LSU hats around here it's crazy. And you don't see news coverage about LSU football? WWL always has something in it almost every night. You must be blind, deaf, and dumb, OP

He lives in a golf club gated community. It has always been a trend of the NOLA upperclass to send their children to Ole Miss or Tulane/Loyola. I see LSU flags flying everywhere in New Orleans, bumper stickers, license plates, hats, shirts, etc...
