So long ago that it's hard to remember. But we lost 16-18 so I'm guessing that is the game you are thinking of

Yea there is a you tube clip otu there...punting from the 20, duval runs around, eventually steps out of bounds in the endzone to take the safety. Auburn subsequently loses. When it doesn't work it looks like one of those things where you out think yourself.

Over/Under 1,000,000 threads concerned with the number of wins Auburn will achieve this season.

Malzahn's team at Arky St. last year had the least amount of returning starters in the league, though the QB returned, and they won the conference.

Sept. 1, 2012 at Oregon L 57-34 0-1
Sept. 8, 2012 Memphis W 33-28 1-1
Sept. 15, 2012 at Nebraska L 42-13 1-2
Sept. 22, 2012 Alcorn St. W 56-0 2-2
Sept. 29, 2012 Western Kentucky L 26-13 2-3
Oct. 4, 2012 at Florida Int'l W 34-20
Oct. 13, 2012 South Alabama W 36-29 4-3 (2-1)
Oct. 23, 2012 at Louisiana-Laf. W 50-27 5-3 (3-1)
Nov. 3, 2012 at North Texas W 37-19 6-3 (4-1)
Nov. 8, 2012 ULM W 45-23 7-3 (5-1)
Nov. 17, 2012 at Troy W 41-34 8-3 (6-1)
Dec. 1, 2012 Middle Tenn. W 45-0 9-3 (7-1)

Started kinda slow, better competition, but got much better as the season went on. With the questions at QB and this being Mike Leach's 2nd season at Wash. St., I think Wazzou has a decent chance for an upset in that game. AU shouild improve pretty rapidly on Offense from that point. The Defense should be much better with Johnson at DC and just because they're a year older. They were young last year. They'll beat Arky St. & Miss. St. and then the LSU game gets very interesting. They'll be capable of beating any team left on the schedule. They won't beat them all but the O/U on 6.5 wins is definitely OVER.

I have been saying this for awhile. I'm getting the feeling that Auburn pulls some kind of fluke/miracle in BR. I can't explain why. Just the feeling I'm getting.

I laid two dollars on the over weeks ago. Gus & Ellis won't let those players lay down and give up - it won't be an option.

I read someplace where Gus said his head would be on a swivel the first game - he'll be looking for bad attitudes and bad body language. He is obviously bringing back the discipline that's been missing for a while.

H4e went down hill pretty fast after that post. He kept predicting demise during the season. He was hacked for the post in here.
