Are you saying you guarantee a win over Arky State by 20+ points?

Just focusing on this part.
We will beat at least one team, without luck, and i think a 20+ win would be a fair indicator that it was without luck.
But it seems obvious you'd rather just keep your schtick up than actually address this.

Auburn will be significant underdogs in four games... @A&M, @LSU, UGA, Bama. The only one that could be interesting is Georgia at home, but there's nothing right now that suggests they shouldn't be significantly better than Auburn. IMO, that's four losses out of the gate... the four OOC games should be wins (although Wazzou could be interesting). It will come down to Auburn winning 3 out of 4 against Ole Miss, MSU, @Ark, @UT. Splitting those games would seem reasonable. Can't really blame anyone for taking the under... seems like a pretty safe bet. Personally, I think we get to 7-5 but it's far from a guarantee.
This is how I see it and why I made the bet. AU would have to go 3-1 against MSU, OM, Ark and Tenn. 2 of these are home the other 2 obviously away. No QB. 4 OOC wins plus a split of the games mentioned above and you arrive at 6 wins. May be five because I do not believe they can split those four SEC games.

Says the guy pimping his internet hardass schtick.
Just curious, what's with the 20 point margin? Why is that the official indicator? Pulling that number out of your arse?
Arkansas State will be no joke

We won in Knoxville in 2009 when both teams had new coaching staffs... I could see us winning up there. Splitting the Ark/UT road games is best case scenario, IMO.
That means we'd likely have to beat both mississippi schools at home to make get to seven... Honestly, I can't remember the last time we lost to both MS schools at home in the same year... I don't believe it's happened in my lifetime. With that said, both OM and MSU on paper are solid teams... won't be easy wins.

Im simply asking that you stand behind what you said. That's not a schtick, that's expecting you to have a spine.

Of course i am. I think it's fair though. What quantifiable statistic can you come up with to eliminate "luck"

Never even said we'd beat them.

Was that the year we itentionally took a safety against MSU...then lost by two?

nice... 1st year coach, too.
if ben leard doesn't get hurt, we beat ole miss... shoulda also beat MSU, IIRC... we took a safety late and state ran the KO back to midfield...

But we did get to smoke cigars.

Alright, using your stipulation of 20+ pts, Auburn has two games on their schedule that *shouldn't* require luck to win: W Carolina and FAU (although your last game with FAU was a 16 pt game).
Arkansas State will obviously be within your 20 pt stipulation and I think it goes down to the wire.
All other games have teams with equal or greater talent than Auburn. The rest should take care of itself.

... and beat the dogsh*t outta UGA in athens. A GOAT performance by Leard and Daniels.
If Ben Leard doesn't go down against Ole Miss, that 99 team probably gets 7 wins.

Over. Auburn will win 8-9 games this year. 3rd in the West behind LSU. Watch and see

So long ago that it's hard to remember. But we lost 16-18 so I'm guessing that is the game you are thinking of.

So the coaching staff won't have to get lucky to win pull out a win this year?
Glad we got that absurd statement sorted.

Too much talent on the field. The coaches will get credit for the W in spite of themselves.
