1945 is the last time that one of the SEC member schools won an outright conference championship in football without having it given to them retroactively.

I threw that out because, prior to 1992, regardless of who won head to head or the tiebreaker, more than one school had a claim to that conference title that year.

Then you cant really add teams that werent in the conference at the time of these to your comparison(A&M, Miz, USC, Arky)

I dont think this is correct.

So are you saying 1933 Alabama shared thier title or were given retroactively? along with a few more schools until '45?

Missouri won the Big 8 outright in 1969, but keep up the fake news.

edit: if your response is going to be they shared it with Nebraska even though Mizzou beat Nebraska, then I guess you think Ole Miss won the West in 2003. Retard.

We were a founding member of the ACC in 1953 and we left the ACC in 1971.

We remained independent in football until 1991 when we joined the SEC. But in all other sports we were a member of the Metro conference from 1983 till 1991.

Did Ole Miss advance to and win a championship game in 2003? No, just as Missouri, despite having the same record as Nebraska in 2010, did not represent the Big 12 North in the title game...just as A&M, despite having the same record in conference as both Oklahoma and Oklahoma State and HAVING BEATEN Oklahoma by 2 touchdowns, did not represent the South Division in 2010.

I think this works best when starting in 1992.

OLE MISS has zero since 1963... Big 6 card revoked.

What about an outright conference title that was retroactively taken away?
