Phil was a decent lineman for A&M. He was fired as A&M's defensive coordinator. He was fired at SMU..he was fired at Pittsburgh. He stated last year that it was a dumb move for A&M to leave the Big 12.

He is just a sad person, mad at the world. The only job he could get was at Baylor and Saturday was the best his defense has ever played.

There was talk in the past few years that he would get canned at Baylor because his defense could not stop anything. He got lucky Saturday night.

It is very sad to see him go out this way.

If Briles leaves Baylor, you can bet his will not take Bennett with him.

The difference is the top of the SEC is much better than the top of the Big 12. The top 6 in the SEC are still the only teams that have beat the top 6 in the SEC.

The SEC is 21-8 in bowl games vs the Big-12, yet every year they want to have a dick measuring contest. Boy they are riding the frick out of A&M's success for all it's worth.

A&M is an SEC team now. Everything they do is now solely attributed to the SEC. Sorry Big-12. They are so far removed from their old Big-12 self there is no point in even considering these hypotheses. New coach, new quarterback, new conference, new attitude. They have improved and molded into what they are playing an SEC schedule, as their offense has become more and more balanced as the season has progressed.
