I don't really see anything wrong with what Muschamp did.

So he said some dirty words and yelled at a ref? So what? That happens in almost every game across America. It's not like he's Ed Orgeron's little brother, Todd Grantham.

In reality, the call could have, and many people will argue should have, gone the other way. But, this is college football. As always, there were big calls missed on both sides of the ball. He needs to remember that and realize it's a part of the game that is beyond his control.

He was always a hot head for mack at texas. I doubt he lasts through the season if this continues. It was embarrassing to watch.

Yelling and cussing at the ref is one thing, acting like a complete and utter fricking lunatic is another.

He walks around the sideline looking like a psycho deer in the headlights for the entire game and he hollers and cusses on a continuous basis. He needs to learn self control.

Subjective.

It's not like he made a throat slash at an opposing player. Or yelled "frick you" in another coach's face. Or incited a mini-riot after the game was over.

Was it unnecessary? Yeah, it was. But it's not a big deal. He yelled, he cussed, he told the ref to "get his head out of his arse." Big whoopie.

False. Cam Newton just made the Auburn coaching staff look better than it really is. No one thinks that Chiz does any real coaching. You can save that BS.

Chiz kept his team focused on winning depite many 1st half deficits and all the intense negativity due to the CN fiasco. That right there was an amazing acomplishment and he earned my respect as a result. College coaching is as much about emotion as it is X's and O's. Having Cam and Fairly certainly helped but thats was but one chapter in the book.

It was funny watching Weis he was sitting down on the cooler.. What a fat arse.. Stand yo arse up!

1) Does Charlie Weiss always sit on a cooler during a game, a big SEC game at that? 2) Who makes the cooler, what is it made of? 3:) If he can't stand, wouldn't you rather have him in the press box where he can see the game? 4) What is in the cooler? TIA

Found these questions while seaching for a picture.

Chiz gets a lot of credit by SEC coaches,

Is that why they voted him SEC coach of the year last year and not Spurrier... oh wait.

1) no, just while the D is on the field which can seem like all game at times.
2) Igloo or Coleman I presume and plastic.
3) he can stand, I would like him in the press box though
4) Water???

Charlie is heavy and underwent knee surgery this summer. Hopefully the rest of the SEC forgives him.

I like Will, he will be a very good HC and has been a very good recruiter. His antics on the sideline are a bit over the top and immature but I remember when he was at LSU, our fans loved his antics from the chest bumping to screaming etc.

Of course there is a difference between a HC and DC and if you are winning BCS titles you can be Sam Kinison on the sideline and no one will care, until then though, Will will have to tone it down a bit. Not so much as to take away from his passion for the game and his personality (kinda like telling Spurrier not to toss a visor).

He will be fine.

The decision to go for it on 4th down with so much time left was really, really, really stupid as well.

you may be right about the rest of your post, but i don't question this call. the wr was open and if the qb would have thrown the pass just a few inches lower, it was first and goal in a one score game. to me, that's competing to win. it actually improved my opinion of him and weiss (which admittedly is not very high).

Also, our FG kicker was injured. A FR punter would have had to kick it.

Zook 2.0

Gators didn't learn their lesson.

Follow up a legend with an unproven(Zook), sandwiched between another legend(Meyer), and unproven asst in Muschamp

They'll can Muschamp after a couple years and hire another big time coach who will bring them back

Its really too early to say anything. He is trying to change the entire team into something entirely different culturally and on the field. A lot of players left and they are changing the entire offensive philosophy. I think some of your memories dont go back so far. This is Coach Boom Motherfricker. A walk on who was starting seinor captain at Georgia. Give him a couple years for his changes and recruits to come in, things will be ok. I could see it going both ways, but I think its way too soon to pass judgement.
