ITAT member are seriously deranged.
None of what these kids with cars and wheels are doing is a NCAA violation. This isn't direct marketing. If this were an NCAA violation, every single restaurant and store with a picture of a current player would also be committing NCAA violations. Basically, nearly every single player on every single team in the country could be found to be ineligible.
What the NCAA deems illegal is direct marketing. Like if a player was on a commercial and said something like, "I bought my wheels at Hot Wheelz. Come on down and get a good deal. I'm AJ McCarron by the way and super cool. Roll Tide!" Now that would be illegal. But that is not what is happening.

I figured it was more of a "how did they get these cars" choose your own leap of faith thing in a piss poor attempt to rile up bama and auburn loons.
I hadn't even considered he'd tried to make an even crazier connection.
