I've seen 2 games that on side kicks were returned for touchdowns. A bad bounce and could have been an epic bad beat.

I get the revenge factor but that was a pretty stupid risky call. Kick it down the field. If it doesn't get into the endzone the game is over. If it DOES, Bama starts from their 25 with 0:01 left. Win. It just seemed like a dumb move to me.
