He’s out for the season. I’m curious as to why some people think he will be back to finish out the season. Why would you put in a guy coming off a broken lower leg, hardware on board, who hasn’t worked out or taken a rep in 2 months. Yeah maybe his ceiling is a little higher than Calzada, but he’s cold. It makes no sense.

He has the same injury Starkel did in 2017 and he was back by game 9.

He may be back but I don't think he's as good as a lot of Aggies seem to think.
He wasn't necessarily great vs Kent State and they're like the #117th ranked defense in the country.
It also took him all offseason to beat out Calzada.

No it didn't. Don't believe the chin pubes propaganda. King was the 2021 starter from the moment he took snaps against Alabama in 2020. Fisher didn't want to make it public so that Calzada wouldn't flee to the portal.

Aggot is exactly who I said they were. An overrated turd who played a pussy schedule last season with two conference games dropped because of Covid, got blown out by daddy Bama (again), barely beat a mediocre Florida team, and beat a UNC team in the Orange Bowl without any of their skill players.

Naw. A&M was far superior to OU last year. Probably this year too. Even with our backup QB we’d be undefeated with OU’s schedule. It is what it is. Sorry that makes you sad.
