that is so sad. Bammer scheduling folks in Birmingham always giving the Tide an advantage

You do realize that LSU has only been to Athens 4 times since 1992 as well, don't you?

East and West are essentially two different conferences at this point now that there are 14 teams. A 9-game schedule is what the fans want, but it won't happen because the SEC office doesn't want its schools to cannibalize each other and hurt its playoff chances.

This is the game of the week.
I am really looking forward to this game. I agree that it will be the game of the week.
Initially, I leaned Alabama, but that was mainly because of the Georgia qb before the season. Now, I think his play might be the edge Georgia needs.
I am really looking forward to that stout Alabama run defense go up against the Georgia running backs.
On a side note, do others think Pruitt will get a HC job offer after this year. I think he is going to be a hot commodity.

Incorrect. Outside of Missouri, Florida is the team we've played the least. Bama has only played in Gainesville 10 times with 3 of those ('99, '06 and '11) taking place after the the '92 expansion.
Bama owes UF 2 visits. So does ATM and Auburn. Jeremy Foley is a wuss for allowing that to happen. No other SEC school bent over so much for the Commish.
Just a point: Your stats do not include SECCG's
But, in the decades in most of our lifetimes, UGA is the most scarce opponent for Bama.

The Rebs don't play in Athens again until 2023

Yet, Alabama is next door to Georgia and is closer to Athens than the majority of the SEC!!!

I would gladly stop going to Oxford and Starkville in order to go to Athens and Gainesville more often.

This is exactly why Alabama and Auburn to the east and Vandy and Mizzou to the west with no cross division rivals needs to happen....

Not at all. That means 1/2 the teams have 5 home games and 1/2 have 4 home games and that's inherently unfair.
The REAL solution is listed above.
And with the way Bama and Auburn are playing this year, I don't want to hear anything about "balance of power" in the divisions...

And after this weekend we'll figure out why

It's only going to be worst with the current schedule routine.
You have yourselves go blame for that

The REAL solution is to go back to a 10 team conference.
