I had noticed that banner up in the pmac and knew it was obviously prior to the ncaa tournament or even NIT tournament. I didnt know, however, that is was basically a false title.

If LSU's '35 title is legit then our '94 is like it happened last weekend.

It was like when Basketball tried to have bowl games, then they decided that was a horrible idea, most schools have erased all memory of that era, but LSU remembers.

Probably, Bamam is football only, Kentucky basketball only, Ole miss sucks at basketball ms. state sucks at football, Georgia sucks at basketball, Florida didn't exist prior to 1992, etc.
Most SEC schools were/are one dimensional in focusing on a specific sport or severely neglecting a sport.
