Their talents were wasted at LSU. Sad, really.

Pretty damn good. Sadly, our defense was trash that year.

They were one and dones?

They were underutilized and under coached for three years. That 2013 team had so much talent.

They both broke the 1,000 yard mark in the same season at LSU... i'd say that's pretty damn good

ODBjr is pretty amazing to watch. He just seems to be a step above everyone athletically, and makes it look easy. Very impressive at the NFL level.

If he can get his attitude in check he has a very good chance to be a HOFer.

I think in 2013 LSU was the only team in college football history to have two thousand yard receivers, one thousand yard rusher, and one three thousand yard passer.

In 2012 we had a pretty good offense but nothing special.

In 2011 we went 13-0 through the SEC and lost to Bama in the national championship game.

You saying they were under utilized is just incorrect. They both balled out at LSU. Hence the reason OBJ was the 11th pick in the draft and Jarvis was a high 2nd round draft pick.

I agree. I remember when he was a freshman and he wore number 33. He made a ridiculously athletic catch and I looked at my brother and said "that boy gonna be good".

they're impressive, but it's a different nfl game these days for receivers ... be interesting to see how odb fairs as the giants transition from eli to another qb ...

How?

Because they didn't win a title?

Yeah I don't get these people that say so and so's talent was wasted. If every player that didn't win a national championships talent was wasted then what's the point of even playing college football? Jarvis and OBJ balled OUT for LSU. Jarvis is my favorite LSU player of all time.

That was one of the best collections of skill players in SEC history. The Murray/Mett duel was definitely the best QB duel the conference has ever seen.

2005 USC had a 3000 yard passer, two 1000 yard rushers, a 1000 yard receiver and another receiver that had 957. That's the only team I can think of that had around the same stats that you just posted.
