But we're not.....maybe the rest of the East division should be for being below us

I kind of am. I thought I was going to throw up when it happened.

I scared the shite out of my roommates girlfriend
She was sitting on the couch watching the game and when the clock hit zero I went berserk yelling and throwing shite. She was terrified. I surprisingly got over that loss pretty quick though, most likely because I was so heavily invested in the Royals. Game 7 is what I still haven't gotten over. Like a nightmare I keep thinking I'll wake up from

How much less would they have cared?
Substantially less, I'm assuming.
We'll never know

Hopefully the boys in blue pull a Spurs: lose game 7 one year, then come back and finish the job the following year

It's a long shot but boy would it make me happier than ever. This season was one of the best experiences of my life even with the bitter end!!

Not gonna lie, I took SA's G7 loss pretty hard. Hang in there--like you said, still an amazing run and great to see around the city

In a serious note, slow start this year. What's up with Pop's boys? Is age catching up? I haven't watched much of SA other than the great game our boys had to start it off.

Look, we're sorry. Made up for that misstep by waxing 'em this past year

Nah, we're a little banged up. Marco Belinelli, Patty Mills, and Tiago Splitter are all out, and Kawhi is getting over an eye infection that was affecting his vision. We'll be aight if we can tread water the first half of the season. Gotta get the gang healthy going into the playoffs.
And that was a helluva season opener. Something tells me we're gonna have a few more Duncan/Dirk barnburners before they hang 'em up

I did too... but then a friend gave me a ticket to Game 5 this year because he just happened to have an extra. Finally, it all had a purpose.
I tormented my students at UF who were Heat fans the rest of the summer semester. Good times.

Man, the AT&T Center looked like it was glorious for game 5

It was rowdy for sure, fantastic time. Seeing LeBron untuck his shirt with 5 minutes left and basically call it was a sterling moment to be alive.

You'll always have insults hurled at you after losing a football game to a B1G team. That's considered a huge failure to SEC fans.
:kige:
Probably why the Cocks adapted to the SEC life the quickest. They already understood that losing to the taterheads and Free Shoes was a no no.

Ugh, playoff series' against y'all are so damn stressful
Watching Pop and Rick throw out tactic after tactic is amazing, though

However, the wall of text you wrote....didn't read.
Wall of text?? Three 3 sentence paragraphs? lol.
That's crib notes compared to your average Cheese Grits missive.

Earning a spot in a 4 team playoff is all about perception since computers are out of the equation. If the SEC East champion has a loss to Indiana, that severely hurts the perception that the SEC is so superior that we deserve 2 spots while two other conferences should be left out.
