Would be pathetic to fire someone for that.
He's created a suspended load on something not designed to hold suspended loads. I work with those light plants all the time, and you're not supposed to do shite like that. Safety violation alone, he should be fired.

Just putting in his notice creatively.

Aren't most crane operators for big construction firms, union?
No idea. In the oil field down here they are independent contractors, and make shite loads of money.

Well, the same could be used in reverse for the crane operator. Was it really worth it to put a stupid flag up at your job site?

The individual who did it, is in the wrong here, not the employer. If he would have used to forethought, he wouldnt have been fired.

If an A&M fan/worker did this during your stadium renovation, the company line would be "Only an Aggie would do something like this; highly unprofessional. That's why they'll always be little brother"
One day everyone on this board will realize the hypocrisy of every fan base that posts here and stop using it as a response during threads.

not really. It shows lack of judgment on the individuals part. It would be a bit different if this was a small business type prank.
Right. Sucks for the guy, but w/ crews working round the clock to make the deadline for the Lamar game, I'd imagine the construction company wants to nip these lighthearted but time-wasting shennanigans in the bud.

Last BD expansion, imagine if there had been an Auburn flag.
The project manager was Stephen Franklin of Brasfield & Gorrie. The lead architect was Courtney Pittman of Davis Architects. Guess where they went to college?
Auburn.

There are some unions in Texas, but due to union membership being optional, unions tend to organize only if they feel they'll get enough due paying members.

Even gumps are stupid enough to trust gumps to build stuff for them. Lolz.

Pathetic... Leave it to a Bama fan to be dicking around during a huge renovation project.

Another cry for attention by the most pathetic fanbase in sports

I thought it was a decent little prank. A little unsafe to play like that on a construction site. I understand why he was fired.

This.
Its really sad how they went from #1 in the country to #2 and little brother in their own state... Now they crave their attention from anywhere than can get it. Sad.

Still reeling over the fact that their Spring Game was on ESPNU, while Auburn's was on ESPN...
