I've been looking at those top 25 teams and also your batting avg. They are not as good as you claim and your batting avg you brag about according to your own website is not impressive.

A&M is SEC Champs according to them.
Their pitching is phenomenal.
UF and Vandy look as advertised. IMO it's UF's to lose.
LSU's young hitters/position players are looking better than expected. Starting pitching isn't looking as good as expected. Bullpen is shaping up nicely.
If they can keep improving and CPM don't tank us, LSU should have a solid season.

Fla has the most talent, if they get hot at the end they should win the title, their midweek starter has weekend quality stuff.
South Carolina and LSU are in same boat, lousy out of conference schedules so we won't truly find out about each team until SEC play starts.
Bama and Ole Miss appear to be better than everyone thought - both have some nice out of conference wins.
Hogs went to Houston College Classic and the attendance was so bad, they had to invite LSU back next year to fix it, damn cold weather teams.

I agree that LSU is overrated at this point but not "highly" overated. I could see them appropriately at about the 10-15 range. but, uber successful programs get the benefit of the doubt in the early goings. true in every sport.

Florida
Texas A&M
Ole Miss
LSU
Vandy
Bama
Arky
MSU
South Carolina
Kentucky
Georgia
Tennessee
Auburn
Mizzou
But still early. Any of the bottom 7 could still potentially make post season...

Arkansas looking good but did drop two games this week and is sitting at 10-2
LSU plays La. Tech this Tuesday so I'm interested in how they fare, based on Arkansas' experience.
I do wish LSU had played a big non-conference weekend matchup before conference play begins.
Alex Lange is having odd innings and this is not what I'm use to seeing. He'll be dominant the first inning and then start missing the corners and off on his curve ball. Saw it against Sac St. and then again against Fordham.

Middle of the pack maybe, but I wouldn't say suck. We want to fire Gaspard and he has gone to the NCAAT 66% of his tenure. Not anything to brag about recently but not really "suck". Same with basketball.
Also 2 men's golf titles in the last 3 years, so that's not terrible.

12 games out of a 53 game season.
That's like knowing what a football team will look like 2-3 games into the season.

Arkansas threw our mid week pitchers at Tech and battled their #1,#2 pitchers.

Texas A&M baseball team.

"They are as fine a hitting team as I have seen in college in my 24 years at Yale." - head coach John Stuper
"They also have a bullpen full of power arms. Guys routinely throwing 94 to 97 miles per hour. It's almost like a big league bullpen staff" - Stuper

Swept series over San Diego and took 2/3 at Stanford make for a pretty strong start to the season. Most encouraging thing for Vanderbilt is that Kilo & Donny Everett are yet to pitch this season (easing back in after off season injuries). Plus Kyle Wright has been thrown limited innings and the pitching has still been as good as it has been.
Get those 3 full back and ready to roll hopefully by SEC play
Kendall is looking pretty strong at the plate too. He's had a couple misses but seems to be building on the promise he showed last year.

Yes, I know this. LSU will probably do the same thing. They won't adjust their weekend rotation to play La. Tech.
