One great thing about Missouri being the first game for O as head coach

It actually makes the game interesting. Seems like LSU only gets 7 home games a year anymore and 3-4 of those are division 2 teams or similarly shitty teams. It's always still football but It's not as fun when you're watching those kinda programs.

It's nice that with another one of those home games this weekend, we can at least look forward to seeing what the team will look like and what the calls will be like under a new staff for the first time in 11 years

The best thing for O is Missouri is not a good team and LSU should get a fairly comfortable win. That established momentum gets the few in the fan base that are not crazy about him on board as well.

Right, because we suck, and you probably wouldn't have bothered watching if the greatest coach you've ever had was still on the sidelines.

But now that a bonifide retread of the highest order is coaching your team, things will change.

Watching LSU fans on here for the last three days have been like watching Mit Romney at his Mormon retreat in November 2012.

Rainbows and fricking unicorns.

Was the intention of this post to give all its readers hepatitis?

Jesus.

Did Hooked on Phonics not distribute in Louisiana?

Holy Christ.

Nick Saban? I've watched for years since he left.

Saban doesn't define your program.

Saban is Bama now. His name will forever be recognized as a part of the Alabama legend.

He will relate to LSU like Bear Bryant does to aTm.

Les defines your program, for at least the next decade, and rightfully so.

For the record, it wasn't a serious response. lol

He did win us a championship though, as did Miles, so they'll forever be connected in that way. At least our program is remembered for that.

The LSU statue is a clown of a man chewing on grass.

I mean. This entire thing is a joke.

Les should have been the semi-famous car salesman with the most likable commercials. That is where he truly should have topped out at in life.

Mizzou fans trying to crack on LSU fans about football. Hilarious! At least we have national championship winning coaches to even bring forth a "statue" in discussion.

When was Mizzou's last football national championship? Please enlighten me.

I'm not tying to "crack" on you guys.

I hope Les gets what he deserves.

I respect that guy, and what he meant to your program.

Everything he brought to the table was the stuff of legend.

He was great for CFB.

He really was.

Louisiana Tech says "hello" piggy. It's only been a few weeks since you "dominated" them.

I'm not the one claiming 3-4 games a year are boring.

I agree 100%. With that said, it was definitely time. It was at least four games too late, in my opinion. I wish he gracefully rode off into the sunset after the aTm game last year.

Fair enough. I agree with you. He shouldn't say that. I enjoy all the games.
