Georgia, LSU, A&M, Alabama, and Ole Miss (maybe) wouldn't be bad enough to be in that position last night.

Just shows how bad of a passer Nick Marshall is.

On the road, top 20 opponent, play pretty bad, and still come out with the victory. Ugly win... but a win against a really good opponent. Take it, learn from it, improve, and move on to the next one. No reason for others to dump on the Tigers.

Is part of football looking like shite against a team that shouldn't have been ranked and had to come from behind against Iowa State?

Keep trying to justify this unimpressive win. KState beat themselves, you guys deserve a loss as well.

2-1*

You asked about a conference game, not a specific team

Let me rephrase then.

What makes Auburn beating the 20th ranked team by 6 points on the road on Thursday night less impressive than A&M beating the currently ranked 15th team by 24 points on the road on Thursday night?

2 missed TD passes to Coates, a dropped TD by Duke, some awful misreads by Marshall on the zone read that could've been huge plays, a tipped ball that led to an INT, poor punting, and the KSU offensive line holding the everliving shite out of Auburn's DL all damn night and not one damn flag being thrown.

I didn't say that everything went right for AU. OP said that nothing went right, which is false.

Their Athletic director, staff, students, players. They handed out the most press credentials ever for their stadium, sold out well in advance(not the norm), etc...

“This will likely be our greatest attended game ever,” K-State athletic director John Currie

Nothing goes right.

except KSU's best receiver dropping a TD and AU getting an INT when the opponent is at the 1 yard line, and the KSU kicker missing 3 FGs.

Offense is stagnant.

which had absolutely nothing to do with KSU's gameplan and the way they played the A & B gaps, huh?
quote:

K-State has ZERO penalties called on them

untrue. had more than one flag but penalties either off-set or were declined.
quote:

Auburn STILL wins.

you SHOULD have. You were the 9.5 point favorite. you're an SEC team playing a middle of the pack Big 12 team (don't give me this "top 25 crap"...you're sounding like Bama fans trying to prop up WVU).
quote:

Given those odds, what teams win those games?

Against KSU? AU, LSU, TAMU, Bama, UGA, SC, Ole Miss
quote:

This is the most impressive victory for any team so far this season. Who has a better one?

were you high when you typed this? How about Oregon beating a top 10 team by 21? How about TAMU beating SCe on the road? KSU won't be ranked at end of season. SCe & Mich St will be.

In the 1990s, Kansas State was dominant at home, posting a 26-game winning streak from 1996 to 2000. On November 11, 2000, 53,811 fans witnessed Kansas State's 29–28 win over Nebraska; this remains the largest crowd in the stadium's history, and also the largest attendance for any collegiate sporting event in the state of Kansas.

KSU Stadium was renamed "Bill Snyder Family Football Stadium" after head coach Bill Snyder originally retired at the end of the 2005 season. Kansas State just finished their renovation and expansion and completed West Stadium Campaign adding luxury seats, press box, Kansas State store, and area for student athletics uses. It was estimated to cost $75 million but when it was completed before the first game in 2013 against FCS NDSU, it said to be cost the project area $90 million. No tutition or tax money were used. The money was raised through private donations.

Hey Aubie what happens when stadiums are expanded? Generally (I am no math whiz) teams set records for attendance. Keep believing Auburn was their biggest game in program history though...losing to nebraska for 29 straight years and finally beating them wasn't a big deal

hmm the new press box could be a reason for the most press credentials ever handed out??

If you take away the three long runs by Payne/Marshall/Grant of (7, 17, and 13 yards):

Auburn managed just 91 yards on 42! carries. a 2.17 ypc average. I understand dropped balls (happened to us just last week). How do you explain getting manhandled in your bread and butter - run game?

Thanks for the d-ride but GTFO! Auburn played like crap and should never have won that game. Maybe LSU only beat Wisconsin b/c Gordon was injured. But hey, who injured him? K-state gifted Auburn a field goal, missed three field goals of its own, threw a pick in the end zone and still had a chance to win in the end. Take your backpedaling skills to the political board homie. Everyone else on your schedule is licking their chops.

Bill Snyder was mugged and didn't realize his signals had been stolen. Oh Auburn
