So what you're basically saying is that it's Russell Shepard's time to shine

Jefferson was safer. METT is more likely to win a game, but looks more likely that he will lose it with a costly turnover or dumb decision.

LSU needed a safe QB to beat every on the schedule except Bama. Cause Bama had a better defense and running game.

Even if Miles actually DID unfairly favor upperclassmen (even though this myth has been blown up MANY times before) those wacky Rantards act like Miles is the first ever HC to enact such a policy.

Miles favored Jefferson because his only other feasible option was JLee, who sucked. At least Jefferson was better if a play broke down. Neither was a good passer; neither could sit back and read coverage.

They both sucked. They're both gone. Let it go.

Wow dude, you are actually spot on here.

ETA: except for the better running game by bama...that's debatable.

Yeah, because Jefferson never made dumb decisions or had costly turnovers.

I did, and I agree. It's the sudden and very bold reversal that I'm mocking.

Name me one QB who hasn't.

Lets list career pick-6s thrown. I wonder who wins that contest?

Yes, Jefferson's performance in January completely agrees.

not really, the only thing JJ could do was scramble and hopefully noone was within 10 yards of him, because my grandmaw had better moves than he did.

Lee was a way better passer, but

read coverage

was a problem for him.

i'll give you '09...but the UT game was Crowton. you can't make substitutions with 20 seconds left and no timeouts.

Funny, because I was calling for Crowton's head in 2009.

It was one game. JJ never won the game on his own, but he wouldn't lose it either unless you were playing Bama on January 9th.

not to take anything away from JJs suckiness during that game.....but our o-line wasn't exactly playing stellar either. It was just one of those games where nothing seemed to work....just happened to be the biggest game of the year.

Look at that gif above. Someone said Mett looks like he'd be more prone to making a dumb decision or a turnover than JJ.

I laugh at that notion.

How the frick could he be overruled.

The only one that could do it would be Alleva.

Regardless, Les should take full responsibility for keeping Crowton on as long as he did.

I also heard a rumor that Gruden was going to be Arkansas next coach.
