They had some people who were very serious about wanting to split and form another state. They got lots of support but it's never going to happen.

Yep. If he performs anything like he did while he was with us, they have nothing to worry about...if he's deemed eligible to play. He's a nice kid and he is talented and was highly recruited, but he just didn't "fit" well with the offense we were running. Maybe the light's come on for him since he got to Cal, though. Guess it's possible.
