Bama's gonna blow Ole Piss out the water. Bama is seeking revenge and Ole Piss hasn't played anyone good yet. Bama way too talented for Ole Piss

I expect a great game. I think most Bama fans are very worried about this one, and that's true of me as well. I don't care who you play, if you're averaging almost 75 points a game you must have a pretty solid offense. First really difficult game for both teams, IMO.

Yeah, but BAMA fields a really good defense......should be a good one.....

Bama fans does not have the most talented team on the field for once and they don't know how to handle it. Ole Miss has more NFL ready players on both offense and defense. Freeze has always played Bama tough despite a lousy rushing attack and I expect more of the same Saturday.

I dislike BAMA as much as anyone, but "more talented than BAMA"......i don't think so! Better offense than BAMA, hell yeah!!! More talented, nah brah!!!

I'm worried as shite for this game and am getting a mob, pitch forks, and then torches if this game comes down to Alabama kicking a FG in the end to win it.

Yeah because that worked out well last year.

If you look at our roster, tons of guys had Bama offers and other offers around the SEC. Our first 22 should be just as talented. I will concede Bama probably has a deeper roster, but not as big of a descrepency as you're exaggerating.

Heck, even with Tunsil out, we could have three or four first rounders on the field against Bama (Nkemdiche, Treadwell, Connor, possibly Engram).

This isn't your typical Ole Miss roster in the last fifty years.

Key matchups

1) Swag Kelly and that crazy deep receiving squad vs Bama's revamped secondary and elite front 7.

-Stave got whatever Bama gave him with 66% 230 yards and 2 TDs with a bunch of no name receiving options and zero running game.
-Kelly is very mobile and has options to throw to for days. Don't be surprised if he goes for 300-350 with 60%+ and 3 or more TDs.
-They have at least 3 receivers with 8 receptions and 117 yards, and 5 with at least 4 receptions and 73 yards. None of them are Evan Engram. Shits ridiculous!

2) Coker vs a good Ole Miss secondary and great front 7 first half/great secondary (when they get back Shepard) and great front 7 second half

-Coker is way too game manager for my tastes. They will have to rely mostly on the run game and short passing game.
-Keep an eye out on Drake, as he could possibly explode the first half and ultimately be the X factor for the game.

I'm still up in the air on this one. While I like Ole Miss as a team (minus the run game) they have yet to play anybody of note for two straight games. However, emptying the roster and still putting up 70+ points is great no matter who the games are to at the D1 level. Ultimately it's at Bama, and Bama looks good at worst. Jake Coker is mediocre, and they don't have an impact receiving option, but the do have a great front 7 and a 1-2 punch at RB.

Toss up

I'm anxious to see the OM linebackers against the power run. If they hold up and show the ability to makes some stops, I'll like OM's chances to make some noise this year.

Should be an entertaining game.

In the last 2 years, OM is 3-5 on the road in the sec with 2 of those wins vs vandy. Bama has lost 3 home games in the last 7 years. 2 of those losses were to heisman trophy winners (cam and Manziel) and other loss was to one of the best sec defenses of all time (lsu '11).

Bama is back run heavy on play selection (wisc 37 to 22 run heavy and mtsu 39 to 26 run heavy) which along with strong defense was the formula to bama's national championships.

Kelly turns out to be more Kenny "trill" hill than Manziel or cam...

Here's the thing though: Kelly is red hot coming into this game wuth a great receiving core led by Treadwell, where Trill had sort of a "coming down to earth" moment so to speak after losing big to the Aggies. Plus MTSU exposed a weakness on the Bama oline at right tackle wuth Jackson. Lot of things that favor Ole Miss in this game
