OM Prediction Thread - NCAA Cheating Edition

I predict that Hugh Freeze falls on the sword and steps down as the head coach at Ole Miss, asks for forgiveness (akin to Jimmy Swaggart) and pops up at a second tier program in a few years (with a show cause in his pocket).
OM has a one season post season ban, loses 12-15 schollies over 4 years.
Bjork will save his job by pleading ignorance.
Predictions, anyone?

I think they will clean house. From Athletic Director on down to everyone associated with that football program.
15 scholarships lost.
Ole Miss falls back into obscurity for a long time.
It could be worse, though.

I doubt any NCAA sanction actually happens. The PR situation is a disaster though and could force OM's hand on some personnel decisions.

Ole Miss is done, it's over

If the beans are really spilled, there is no telling what could happen.
People forget that Tunsil was seen as a having "purchased" a Dodge Charger from Cannon Auto on their own site (and it was promptly removed) last summer.
The improper benefits provided could get pretty silly before it is all over.

Time will tell the facts will come out.
What was that suppose to be sent from because I have an IPhone and the chat content looks the same but not the time stamping? Just wondering if anyone knows.

50 schollies over 5 year, 5 year probation, 3 year bowl ban, show cause for 4 coaches.

It's clearly from Instagram, not the built-in Apple messages.

I don't see much becoming of this, they have far deeper and widespread illegal benefit issues that the NCAA needs to investigate.

Probably gonna stop construction on the stadium as well. And just lay done some crappy astroturf on the field, right? Because, I mean, what's the point of continuing?

Yeah, I read your board already. This isn't going away, you need to embrace the Rebal demise because it's inevitable.

So Instagram messages? I have never seen that. I'm not talking about posted but original source.

That is true. My gut feeling is that there are serious meetings scheduled for today in the OM Athletic Offices. They will first look into damage control...that will prove difficult...and Hugh Freeze, if he really is the Christian he claims to be, will feel internal pressure to fall on the sword and step down.
I'm hedging my bet that Freeze actually does the right thing here for some reason.
When he steps down, it will result in the whole staff being removed as well...or a skeleton staff with a interim being named for this season.

I'm not saying that for all I know it's true but you still have to have the facts.

The investigation will take over 2 years. Miller and Barney will be fired/resign. Ole Miss will end up losing 2-3 scholarships a year for 3 years and be put on probation. They will also have a 3 year bowl ban. The bowl ban will be lifted after 1 season.

20 scholarships and 3 year bowl season ban if Hugh Freeze doesn't step down / AD heads don't roll.
10 schollies and 1-2 year post-season if Freeze resigns and most of AD staff goes firesale; or instead of firing Freeze et al., Ole Miss pays +$25 million fine.
This is all based on Penn State getting 20 scholarships, 4 season bowl ban, and a $60 million fine AFTER their coach died.
PSU was way worse all things considered, so I'd expect a less onerous penalty for the rebs if the NCAA were to consistently apply penalties.*
*Which we all know won't happen, so probably death penalty or nothing
