Good old XenaReb. Supposedly in one of the meetings with the NCAA, Sherrill called out Johanigmeyer (spelling?), the NCAA investigator for messing around with her. He denied it, and Sherrill threw down some pictures with Johanigmeyer and Xena in a hot tub together taken by a private investigator. State got busted for some petty stuff, and got a bowl ban and a few scholly's reduced in 04. Of course, a bowl ban was practically pointless that year, and hiring Croom probably lessened the penalties (Croom was a penalty to State himself).

Well the Lyceum is not really that public of a place. Literally any other building on campus would have been better in that situation.

Though it is funny at how far the story goes and changes over the years.
btw....another long-standing MSU rumor is that Khayat has an NCAA LOI sitting on his desk and it's about to be made public. That was over 10 years ago. I'm still waiting.
MSU has never been in the wrong in an MSU fan's eyes. Everything bad that ever happens to them is always a direct result of something Ole Miss does.
We're also accused of cheating more than all other programs combined every year but MSU has had the past two NCAA investigations(04 and I think 96).
....but yet we're the once's that cheat like hell. MSu didn't get put on probation because Jackel cheated....no...they obviously got put on probation because of XenaReb allegedly fricking the NCAA investigator. Obviously Jackel's cheating had nothing to do with it.......nor did it have anything to do with his stops at aTm and Pitt.(both of which he put on probation before bailing.)

The latest rumor I've seen is that Freeze was a big party animal in his college days and did a bunch of bad shite until he was kicked out of the baptist student union, which ended up being utter bullshite.
And even if it wasn't, who gives a shite?
