We had Clemson scheduled this season but they backed out.

If you mean we gave TCU our backup for a second straight year for the roster space you are correct. They are like the trash heap at the edge of our QB processing plant.

Seems to be working for them just fine. Past five years they have a better overall record than tamu and a BCS bowl win.

And an invite to a "major" conference. Can't really hate on TCU, they are a by-the-bootstraps team.Too bad the team does not have a fan base worthy of their achievements, but beating Texas on Thanksgiving while everyone watches LSU instead is a nice consultation prize.
