How in the hell did y'all not win the West? Most teams with that résumé win the conference and usually play in the national championship. But this happenned... 
If that doesn't happen, this likely doesn't happen...

There are few things on this board that reek of insecurity more than saying that one fan base is "obsessed" with another, which was the implication here. It's the SEC Rant, where everybody is talking about everybody else's teams 24/7. Alabama is the leader of the conference in football, so they get mentioned most. The funniest is when news comes out about one team, another team's fan starts a thread on it, then his entire fan base is accused of being obsessed. It's just kind of silly is all. I'm not trying to pick on you or A&M fans in general.

20 more years of Ole Miss beating Alabama still leaves Alabama with a commanding 51-30-1 lead in the series .

Every time we buck up and try to win the West a team from the West wins a natty(LSU 03, Bama 15). Sucks
The days of winning the west at 6-2 have been gone for a while. Even going 7-1 in 03 couldn't get it done for us.

We've finished 6-2 and 7-1 and didn't win the West. How does that happen?
Meanwhile Mississippi State's one appearance was with a 5-3 record in conference. Arkansas had some garbage teams with a worse record make it to Atlanta under Nutt. South Carolina was 5-3 in conference in 2010.
We really are Ole Miss.
