Last week of the regular season in the SEC: only two teams had a shot at winning the West. Alabama and Ole Miss. This is where any program wants to be that time of the year.

What impressed me was the fact that Freeze did not lose the team after the Florida and Memphis games. Previous OM teams would have just packed it in and called it a year after those two losses. He did a great job.
A good head coach can get the attention of his team and get them focused on the remainder of the season even after a loss. A good coach knows football is just as much a mental game as a physical game.
