I guess freshman All-Americans like Tunsil, Nkimdashian, Treadwell and Conner along with Cody Pretty. I'm not sure who the sixth one is.

but I think we have a good shot to go 8-4 and maybe 9-3 and surprise a team or two

There is too much measured, realistic talking in this thread. I had been under the impression that Ole Miss fans were all talking about 10-2 at worst.

You aren't the only one. This thread gets started every week and every week we say the exact same thing, yet when a national publication (not OM fans) say something good about us, another thread will pop up in the future.

I don't know how this comment got lost in this thread, but what on earth are you talking about?

It's pretty straight forward. We return 6 AP All-Americans.

Prewitt
Conner
R. Nkemdiche
D. Nkemdiche
Tunsil
Treadwell

Engram was second team AP All-SEC and only played half the season. He would have been All-American had he played the whole season, considering he was an Honorable Mention.

A true Ole Miss fan would never say 10-2 at the worst. You could give every SEC team the death penalty and give us the best recruit at every position for four years and I'd still be nervous about winning 10 regular season games. No way we upset Alabama and Auburn and if we did, that equals, at least, 3 WAOM moments

they return quite a bit and know what they're getting out of their qb

this is really their year imo, because with the addition of aTm and the classes aTm, LSU and Bama are getting, they won't be looking too good for the next few years

Ehh, 2015 should be a much better team than this year. We'll get a better feeling in a few weeks when Kincade gets live action.

Well, their schedule sets up nicely for them.

quote:

Boise State (Atlanta) - not the Boise of old
@ Vanderbilt - new coach, lost their quarterback and Matthews
UL-L -
Memphis
Alabama - Alabama's got to break in a new qb, the game is in Oxford
@ Texas A&M - A&M is replacing a lot
Tennessee
@ LSU - Mississippi plays LSU tough, LSU has to break in a lot on offense
Auburn - This will be the most difficult game. Mississippi gets them in Oxford.
Presbyterian
@ Arkansas
Mississippi State - Rivalry game in Oxford

They won't win the West, but the schedule does play to their favor.

We should win 8 games. We win less and I'm disappointed. We win more and that's fine. These threads and the offseason are fricking miserable.

We are now Dr. Bo days away from kickoff. Can't wait to see what the Georgia Dome finally looks like!

This

We will literally be better at every position other than QB, and even there we will have a guy who is more mobile, better student of the game, and a better arm. Cant discount the experience factor of course, but its not like Bo is the best at making good decisions.

I will say it now, the 2015 team will win 10 games. But LSU fan is right, 2016 will be tough. That team should be equally as good at this 2014 team at the bare minimum, but LSU and A&M will be salty as frick and I believe we play UGA. 2014 team could easily win 9 games, while the 2016 probably only wins 7, 8 at most, and like I said that team should be at the worst, as good as this year's squad

The OP will magically think you are saying we win 14 games this year. You can't fix people that are fully fricking retarded...

I realize that y'all beat a bad LSU team last year, but what exactly is whipping you tards into such a frenzy this go around?

Unfortunately or not, I know several Ole Piss fans very well. They can't help themselves as it is woven into their heads (it is their culture) to be 'delusional' about Ole Piss football. The main reason is that they (current fans 21yrs - 50yrs old) have NEVER had a real big time winning team. They grasp at straws to elevate Ole Piss by stating individual big wins against the premier SEC teams. And duly note that LSU has been victim to upsets as LSU does not respect Ole Piss as a real threat (wrong for doing so).

It is what it is.........Geaux Tigers
