Mullen will win some Egg Bowls...yes. But he won't dominate the rivalry.

Mullen is a very impressive coach IMO. Houston better recruit his tail off because Mullen won't let up. This game is one of my favorite rivalry games. There is a lot of hate in this series. It will be interesting to see what happens this year with Mullen being in his 2nd season. I could see him turning the series in MSU's favor.

I think AU is his 2nd favorite Western team behind MSU.

More like Mullen better recruit his tail off. Houston has done a better job at recruiting for Ole Miss...more so than Mullen has at State.

The only thing I have been disappointed in with Mullen is in his recruiting.

This year's class wasnt that much different from most of the classes that Croom recruited. I hope that Dan brings in some talented players this year. I am hearing he may go after some JUCO guys around Mississippi.

.I dont give a frick if Nutt lands a whole class of 5 stars. If he coaches the way he did against State last year he will lose.

All posts like this demonstrate is that other SEC teams know that Ole Miss is capable of being a threat to them, whereas MSU is not......and it is therefore in their best interests for MSU to be a thorn in Ole Miss's side as much as possible.

Thanks for the compliment.....now if only Ole Miss fans and its Administration realized, as you all do, that they are their own worst enemy......

The difference is that Mullen can actually produce yardage with that talent and score some points.

What's Nutt's record at OM? Now, what's Mullen's at State? Choose either of HDN's since he's been there two. Your statement was absolutely retarded

For everyone Ole Miss is a threat to on the schedule, some other teams come up and beat Ole Miss. South Carolina the last two years comes to mind.

OHhh no doubt that Mullen is a HELL of a lot better coach than Crooms and knows how to run an offense, I just hope we can win this year and convince some recruits to come to State. We desperately need a good HS QB to sign with us.

Houston Nutt isn't going to concede anything to State. Mullen appears to be a bright young coach but I'll take HDN myself.

HDN inherited a solid amount of talent whether you admit it or not. If yah yah football wasn't a complete x's and o's retard then you would have been winning earlier. Mullen came after one of the worst coaches in the SEC of the decade and won as many SEC games as AU, Arky, and USCe. All programs in much better shape than what Crooms left us with.

As for recruiting, there wouldn't have been much of a gap at all if not for our late fumbles with Neal, Newton, and some player I'm forgetting. 2009 was an excellent class as well that was falling apart before Mullen was hired.

Honestly, there's only one direction for him to take you, so.
