I think Mullins will turn the tide in this rivalry while he's there. I look for Miss St to win this year and possibly start a dominant streak over the Rebels. This year should be the first time since 98-99 that they'll have back to back wins and could possibly be the first coach to lead them to more than a 2 game streak since the late 30's.

The Egg Bowl is all Miss. State cares about. We definitely weren't ready for that this past year, especially since we won the 2008 egg bowl 45-0 and completely embarrassed State, we came in extremely cocky and they handed it to us. Hopefully it'll different this year and we'll be ready.

In other news since your a big State fan, Im gonna be an Auburn fan and predict they hand it to you this year.

Haha, well we better start caring more or it'll be like last year.

State has a countdown clock for the egg bowl and their coach refers to us with his cute little nicknames.

I guess its good for the fan base and it gets the players motivated so whatever works.

Thats such a BS excuse to lose to them considering they're a conference opponent and count the same as an LSU or a 'Bama.

Have you seen our recruiting vs. MSU's recently?

Obviously not.

Out-of-state 4-star recruits or higher NEVER choose MSU.

I'm sure the coaches care about the other 11 games in the regular season too.

That's funny. B/c Ole Miss has their sites set on bigger things.....right? Remember, they've been to Atlanta, you haven't. The Cotton Bowl is as big as it's going to get for Ole Miss.

Thats still a hell of a lot bigger than the Egg Bowl. Sorry we've played in 3 times the amount of bowl games yall have.

Who cares... they've been to 13 bowls in their lifetime, we've won 23. We have superior tradition, facilities, location, and even more recent exposure.

We've won back to back Cotton Bowls and they've been sitting on their arse dreaming of basketball season.

All of you mouth breathers being fooled by Mullen and his BS makes me truly

Mullen had a good article by Finebaum today, he praised Mullen and had lots of good things to say about him.
