We beat you in frisbee golf though on our way to national championship. That tops southern hockey....I think.

I've never understood this logic. The second worst team in the division is tickled that maybe they'll be the second worst team going forward. The only teams that are going to win the division are Alabama, Auburn, and LSU. Maybe A&M if they get their act together.
MSU isn't going to win the SEC in your lifetime. Neither is Ole Miss. Ole Miss, MSU, Kentucky, Vandy, and so on only exist to prop up the perennial powers. That is their function.
And you're happy that the NCAA is going to kick a program down that hasn't been nationally relevant since JFK was president. Just so a team that has never been nationally relevant can be slightly better than an also ran.
A better and more logical hope would be that something would happen to the traditional powers, so that perhaps you can move up. What you're saying is something like, "I hope the last place guy gets disqualified. Because since I have no chance to be first, I might as well enjoy being second to last. So I can point and laugh to distract me from the fact I won't ever win."
But, then again, maybe that's what you're doing. Can't say I find it very logical, however.
