Except Cord was barely a 4 star and everyone was saying he was going to play baseball from the very second he committed.

Not particularly...who is he/she?

quote:He was a composite 4 and I believe someone had him a 5. But subjective as these ratings are, what's the difference? He still chose baseball while committing in football. Someone offer me a million out of high school to play baseball rather than a lifetime of having my brains bashed in in football, I choose baseball.

You know you can easily look this stuff up right?

So what you are saying he was a good football player that chose baseball, right?
Posted on 4/9/16 at 10:52 am to Diamondawg
No I'm saying he was a decent football player and good baseball player that literally everyone except MSU fans knew was going to play baseball.
I'm not saying Brown won't be drafted and go play baseball, just that Brown is a bigger talent at football than Cord was. If Brown decides to go the baseball route I will be happy for him.

Everything in that article pointed to going to baseball. They only brought up college football because of the commitment. Even when they did it was mostly, "well you know, he could go play football". *chuckle*

If he gets drafted in 1st or 2nd round he'd be dumb to not take the money while he can
You take the money and the nice signing bonus that gets your momma a new house, kick cans around the minors for a couple years, then come back and give OM a couple years and slang dick all over the sororities while having dollars in your pockets on MLB's dime.
or baseball pans out and he gets to the bigs and makes way more money and has a longer career than he could ever hope for in the NFL.

that is my point. Sorry that's too difficult for you to grasp.

Yeah, well, you missed the point of my mentioning Sandberg.
