I don't know of any normal MSU fan that reads it now. Appears, only Ole Miss fans and the few ED radicals that post there.

As much as I would like to think that the ED radicals represent State's fan base, I know it's not the case. Those guys are the true 1 percenters.

They are All In on two basic premises: one is that Hugh Freeze and multiple assistants will be assigned Major violations, will be hit with a Show Cause, and summarily fired. And that's just not gonna happen.

The other fantasy is that there is a "second" investigation and a "second letter." And if we get off easy on this round, just wait for the "real" letter to come out. That's their parachute so to speak.

Of course, there is no second letter. They are gasping for air at this point.

I don't know what is going to happen to OM, but neither does any OM fan posting on this board. We'll see.

I know someone who has seen the NOA, (but has not seen our response yet). His exact words to me were: "There are issues in the NOA. Freeze is fine. Ross has done a good job handling it. It appears to be very survivable from our standpoint. Some of the things that happened were out of anyone's control (Tunsil) and the worst stuff is from Nutt (Saunders)."

I know this man well enough to know that Hugh Freeze is not getting a Show Cause. That's a fact.

ESPN reported from the start that Freeze wasn't personally named in the NOA. Did your friend say anything about how our Saunders stuff stacked up to ULL?

Since he is in a position to know, I asked a very open ended question, like: "Do we have anything to worry about with all of this?" And his answer was as close as I can remember it word for word what I wrote above. I didn't ask anything else, and he didn't volunteer anything else.

I didn't ask him about the "second letter" because the idea is so preposterous, he wouldn't even know what the hell I was talking about.

That one is for the tinfoil hat crowd, exclusively.

But you haven't been paying attention. The NCAA just wrapped up the first (pre Freeze investigation) with the first letter before the time statute ran out.

All the Freeze stuff is in the second letter. Except the Tunsil stuff is in the first letter, which is Freeze. But that's only because it was made public. So they had to put it in the first letter. Even though it's the basis of the second letter.

And the info from Chris Jones' recruiting trip where he wore a wire, four years ago. He came back with PLENTY (not my emphasis) from that. And that's all Freeze stuff. But that's not in the first letter. Even though it happened before the first letter stuff.

They're saving that for the second letter, except for the first letter Freeze stuff that was public, which is in the first letter.

And that's the stuff that will get Freeze and his staff the Show Causes. The second letter stuff that happened before the first letter stuff. Like academic fraud that happened before Freeze, but will still be pinned on him. In the second letter.

Is that clear?

(Oh, and Burner Phones!!!)

Yeah this whole idea how they know the NCAA has actually changed the way they work to fit their story with no proof. But hey whatever they need to keep the dream a live.

Now OM is hiring a director if character development!!! Wow! Trying to put lipstick on a pig. Talk about the hardest job in college football. That's gotta be it.

Quite honestly, this will make or break ED and Rosebowl.

No no, they have played this pretty smart, at least Steve has. No matter what punishment comes out, ED will say that a second letter that is far more damaging is coming and will be saying this for the next 20-24 months. Steve will say, see, I told yall that they were under investigation, I told yall that that they would receive a letter, I told yall they would lose scholarships and I told yall they would get put on probation. I dont know everything Steve has said in private on his board but as long as he doesnt flat out say that OM is going to have tv bans, bowl bans, or a show cause, he has been vague enough to say, " I told yall".

Its hilarious to see C34 shift on CJ over the years. He first said he was a prima donna looking for attention. Then said he will probably go down as his favorite bulldog ever insinuating that the only reason he was showing interest in OM was to catch them in the act. When the NCAA interviewed Chris, he said, "See!!!! they are screwed now". When Freeze said that he and Chris still talk regularly, he denied that that was going on and now that Chris RT OM shite and favorite's Freeze's tweets he has gone from favorite dawg of all time to a complete traitor. But as long as he gets drafted ahead of an OM player, all is forgiven.

Reading ED reminds me of watching Vizzini explain away the logic of the poisoned wine with his superior intellect in The Princess Bride: "I'm just getting started!!!!"

Likely everyone involved wanted an extension. Just because only one party requests it doesn't mean only one party wanted it.

Which makes sense, if you have that time you might as well use it and get everything done right.
