And, of course....if you do not believe ESPN, you can always listen to Les Miles own words...pay close attention to what he says in the following clip at 1:15 seconds

Seriously? Check my other post with a video of Les Miles saying EXACTLY what I said....and ESPN, of course. Well, of course...if you want to call Les Miles a liar, that is your business. I am taking him at his word, though.

And just in case you decide NOT to listen, Miles says "...they voted to have him back. And, he was not going to be invited back to practice, had they not invited him when they voted to have him back..."

Those were Les' words...not mine.

Kinda like LSU fans acting like the KKK rally in 09 was a university organized event? And completely ignoring the fact that the rally occurred because they were protesting against the university? Kinda like that?

The masses heart narratives.

Educating me? ok. So you are saying that Les Miles is a liar. noted. I don't know what to say, Wade...Les Miles said it. now you tell me...is Les Miles a liar, or are you the one needing to be educated?

I don't need to call Les Miles a liar just to point out the fault in your logic. From your link, and the excerpt you posted:

quote:

coach Les Miles allowed Hill to rejoin the Tigers

Surely you don't believe that the coach allowing his team to express their feelings on the situation precluded his final judgement on Hill's status?

And, there is a precedent for this in LSU sports. Just last season, Cody Glenn, a starting pitcher, was suspended after his team voted to keep him off the mound during regionals.

They started pitchin' a bitch about 11:30. Took 30 minutes for the cops to get involved.

He should have had his arse home at 11:00, like he was told.

According to him it did. Are you saying he is a liar. He said that Hill would not have been allowed to rejoin the team had they voted him off. Does that make it sound as if Miles made the decision or the team made the decision? Had Miles wanted him gone, Hill would have been gone, right?

Not quite...more revisionism? Cody Glenn was suspended by his coach, then was voted to return to the team by his team mates. his team mates did not vot him to be suspended...they voted for hsi return. LSU sure is tough on their players, aren't they? Let's vote! It's the American way!

After a vote cast by his fellow LSU teammates, starting pitcher Cody Glenn returned to the Tigers active roster for a looming super regional matchup against Oklahoma, serving what amounted to a one-game suspension during the NCAA Tournament regional for violating an unspecified team rule.

In what way? I have backed up everything I've said with links and video....you, on the other hand keep insisting that Les Miles didn't mean what he said, apparently.

Look. I don't mean to argue with you. You should be proud of your school and back it up. I apologize for posting the stories and links.

This exact scenario happened to me. We were leaving my buddy's apartment above the levee at 3ish. There were 4 people on the square. My buddy, myself, and 2 cops. I got arrested for being in the wrong place at the wrong time literally.
