Correct. It was the '01 season and every rag had us winning the west b/c we had a lot retruning and Madkin was a senior. We also had a lot of Juco's coming in which didn't pan out. Steve was just starting to write and cover for Gene and he laid it out there to pump up the "sunshiners". I personally blame 9-11 for that season.
