There is enough evidence to destroy your program. What does it take for OM fans to just acknowlege the truth?

Jeffrey Simmons for Heisman. Better keep him happy or he might spill the beans.

I've got to admit, OM fans have come a long way in this saga.

We aren't doing anything
They can't find anything
All minor stuff/prior staff
You better hope we (or player X) don't tattle

Castration will be the penalty for your sins, not death. Enjoy sec life going forward as a steer... Had to get some cow talk in there seeing as I'm from cow college

You're a persistent fricker I'll give you that. Persistently shitty but persistent none the less.

But 15K and a few level 3s isn't gonna destroy any program.

I'm in the "Apparently, we did it, but I don't believe it so it didn't happen because Hugh Freeze is a good person and wouldn't knowingly do such things" category, otherwise known as denial.

But... whatever. I lived through the Steve Sloan and Ed Orgeron. I can make it through whatever comes of all this. Which will be not nearly as bad as some of you think, but worse than probably I think it will be.

Ole Piss fans are SO STUPID. Why can't they just own their cheating like Alabama.

I'm in the "we did it, now give us our slap on the wrist and move on" camp.

Unless $15k total over 3 yrs of benefits warrant the death penalty, in which case we fukt

No matter what camp people are in, no one can possibly think that this is actually on the table, can they? I mean, seriously? There will not be a death penalty.

No reasonably sane person thinks the death penalty is on the table.

The text communication referencing the $200+ payments to Tunsil deals with proper payments. The text regarding a $300+ payment for Tunsil's mom's bills would not be proper, but from what I have been told, it never was paid out (at least not by Ole Miss staff).

That is the situation for any of you who would like to know, and the NCAA punishment should end up reasonably close to the self-imposed restrictions.

Obviously, if the information I have received is wrong and the texts were text communications by an Athletic Director about improper monies being funneled to our star player, then all bets are off and it'll get ugly.

But all reasonable people know that is simply not the situation. If you have any doubt, consider these points:

1) Freeze likes his 5 million dollar a year job. [fairly safe assumption]

2) Freeze stated unequivocally on national TV for the whole world to see that if he was aware of any evidence of his staff's involvement in paying money to players, he would fire them immediately. [this is a fact as it was stated on Finebaum's show yesterday]

3) If the AD was in fact facilitating improper payments, Freeze would have, and could have, had him fired immediately to help save his own $5-million-a-year job. [this is a fact further supported by Freeze's willingness to make the above comment on Finebaum yesterday]

4) The AD did not get fired. [fact]

SO, given all of that, we know unquestionably that one of these two statements is correct:

#1 -- The payments were NOT improper payments; OR
#2 -- Freeze decided that he no longer wanted to keep his $5-million-a-year dream job.

You can decide which of those two statements you think is more likely.
