It was well know that recruits were getting $1000 just to visit Ole Miss when Freeze first showed up. That country bumpkin is not that great of a recruiter to pull all those guys just on relationship alone.

Exactly. It's like they can't comprehend the fact that Mississippi is the fattest, poorest, stupidest, and most racist state in America and players may wanna go somewhere else.

As for guys picking LSU over Ole Miss, the only money related one was Dupre. Al Woods and Godchaux weren't money related.
