A&M will undoubtedly be a beast down the road, especially if Texas continues to struggle allowing the aggies to dominate that state recruiting wise, like they have the past few years.

As of now, their defense completely sucks so that alone will take a year or two to fix properly, but after that, this conference is gonna be just that much tougher to navigate.

Baseball doesn't officially end until July. All teams must return home and turn in equipment and get their Summer league assignments

That's what happens when you have no hope of winning.

A&M, they'll luck into one in a down year for the West simply on talent (they also have the best current coach of the 3), then Arkansas... some nutball fan will buy them their Cam Newton and company, they'll win the title and everyone will bitch about cheating (they'll probably get caught too because Jerry Jones or someone will openly brag about handing over a suitcase of cash)... Ole Miss ain't winning crap unless we turn back time, the karmic debt has yet to be paid-- post-integration Kentucky has more SEC title than Ole Miss.

In SEC Championship Games

Arkansas 0-3
Ole Miss 0-0
Texas A&M 0-0

The only thing that has kept Arkansas from winning the championship is defense. We've lead the league in scoring and offense many, many times in the past.

Coach B is building Arkansas just like a business. From the foundation (linemen) up. History shows if Arkansas gets a defense we will eventually win it. Our running game is always stupid good for the past decades. There is a reason ESPN ranked us Running Back U. Heck, we aren't even talking about the All-American's from the 70's, 80', 90's, just 2000's on.

What is surprising is how has USC-E not won it with so much stability over the years? I wish Arkansas could have half the stability!

Arkansas has certainly been the closest out of the three. If Bert can bring a sustainability to the defenses I think they can do it. A&M and Arkansas seem to have the most groundwork done on their part as far as competing in the future. A&M in a stronger position now, but if Arky does things right they absolutely could contend.

They've been the closest because they have been in the league 20+ more years and have actually played in the championship game? I'll agree with that.

Give A&M 20 years in the SEC and I doubt the trophy case is empty. I also think Ole Miss has a better chance than Arkansas.

A&M
OM
Ark

In that order.

Yep, A&M is likely to get stronger with time, which further diminishes both Arkansas and Ole Miss's chances.

If co-championships count then we've won the west.
