Is there anything at the old Jackson Avenue mall location other than that shitty arse JC Penny? They could park there.

yeah, LSU only has one parking garage on campus right now, the same as Baton Rouge CC....mother fricking Jindal I will admit that I like his investment in trade schools for the state, but that's for another long ramble and new thread.

From the campuses I've seen, I was really impressed with Alabama having what seemed like 200 parking garages, at least compared to LSU.

And the "no vehicles for freshmen" idea is on its way to LSU too, but it still needs to renovate and add a few more dorms

Freshmen definitely shouldn't be allowed to drive. You live on campus. Walk or take the bus.

Including campuses in Jackson, and a few other towns.

How many students in Oxford?

Doesn't matter. It's all University of Mississippi.

I imagine the university would put that at the Mall parking lot which the university owns and currently uses for Park & Ride.

Kinda does if 20% of your number isn't even in Oxford.

State is the larger campus, isn't it?

They still have a Movie theater, Off-Campus bookstore, & the math lab there.

Pretty sure a number of SEC schools do that.

Tulane does it, and they're even more OOS heavy than Ole Miss. It's do-able, but I would hate to not have my car freshman year

Thank you. It irritates me to see Freshmen that live in Kincannon drive their cars to the parking lots by the baseball field for a class that's in Hume. It makes no damn sense.

Why does it matter? All of them are University of Mississippi students.

Land area? Yeah. By a lot. I'm not sure about student population.

And what they are charging to park in that parking garage is outrageous.

UK's enrollment this year is 30,704, including 5,000 freshmen. Plans are to top out at 37,000 in a few more years.

They aren't seperated until a later release, but ~20k would be my guess. State also has a satellite campus in Meridian. I'd guess the Starkville and Oxford campuses are about even.

Ah. For some reason I thought the book store and math lab had moved. I figured there wasn't a movie theater there since the new one opened up

How much is it? I figured if you had a commuter parking pass you could get in there. The parking passes are outrageously priced but they have to do that because of the demand.

Its just funny that Ole Miss and Texas A&M posters always include branch campuses in their numbers. It's lil bro syndrome.

Arkansas State and Arkansas Tech do the same thing.

Is this true? If so, I'm adding UAH and UAB to Alabama's numbers. Approximately 60,000.
