Eh, it's a long game. This one will probably go down to the wire.

Nice shot at the buzzer to quiet the crowd before half.

HUGE way to end the half for Ole Miss. Only down 3 with Moody looking terrible is a pretty good sign IMO.

We need to create some new looks for summers and moody. The same 2 plays to both of them have been pretty well guarded for the past 2-3 weeks.

Moody runs the same catch and shoot from the left side and teams have pretty much figured that out.

Name off the seasons when we started off strong and missed out because we struggled at the end of the season.

That isn't "classic Kennedy". Typically we do the opposite..... Start off shitty and have to fight our way back into the discussion.

Summers may be out for awhile. And Terrance smith dribbles the ball like a power forward. After seeing the bracket for the sec tournament with current standings...
I wouldn't mind being 5 th, play Missouri or South Carolina. And then you get Texas am.

That could be two more wins. As opposed to getting the double bye and losing the first game. I like out chances in the 5 spot.

We've gone undefeated in non-conference under Kennedy 1-2 times at least I can't remember. Typically we only lose 2 games before SEC play starts (because we usually don't play a rough schedule). A few years back we were undefeated going into SEC opener @ Tenn and we lost in OT by 2 and the wheels fell off and we went 8-8 or 9-7 in league play.

ETA: Just looked at a few old schedules.. We've been averaging around 3-4 losses preseason before falling apart in SEC play.

The slump is occurring slightly later than normal. We usually start off strong, slump midway through SEC play, then show enough life late to give hope. I can remember having ranked teams midway through the season at least twice.

we're talking conference play.

There hasn't been a single season under Kennedy that we were comfortable in the tournament through most of conference play.

This type of season has literally never happened before under Kennedy. I'm just pointing out that, by definition, the guy I replied to is full of shite.

And by your example....you also proved him wrong. We struggled at the beginning of the year and then turned it on.

So once again.....classic Kennedy, my arse

Yeah Kennedy is good for going slightly above .500 in league play. We always fall apart Jan-March
