Looking at your schedule black bears I see it set up nicely. FSU is overrated unless they beat someone worth a crap this year. Last year they had one quality win, if you call beating UF who is building a big win.
What stands out at me is getting Alabama early again at home who replaces a new QB and Derrick Henry etc. Georgia at home with a new coach is ripe for the taking as they look to find a new identity. I don't think anyone believes you lose to Wofford, Ga Southern, Vandy or Memphis. Is this your year?

Good question.
If you would have told me that in a given year we beat LSU, Auburn, and LSU I would have been 100% sure we would have won the West.
So for me I will go into every game feeling like we will win and having that optimistic feeling. But looking grand scheme large scale I won't ever pick a year as our year until it happens.

Why not? They do catch you guys early and at their home turf. I think it's a legit question the way their schedule lines up.

They return a veteran QB and even if they cheated they have talent everywhere. I think they beat Bama again for 3 straight years.

FSU returns starters everywhere. They still have a question at qb, but they should be very good. We have to play the west and then UGA from the east and Ga Southern and Wofford are actually good teams from their respective conferences. Our schedule is too tough to make a run at the playoff. LSU, AU, and A&M could also all be good to very good.

Don't know if this is our year. We are in a slight rebuilding year, so my guess would be no. Just don't know if we have the experience across the board to compete at the highest level. We will see though, and best of luck to the Dawgs this year. Come to Ox for the Egg Bowl and we can share some beer

I'll get blasted for saying this, but I think Ole Miss wins the SEC and gets into the CFP. I'll have to see what schools like Ohio State and Clemson look like before saying they win it all, but I think they have a shot.
They are the second most talented team in the SEC behind Bama...but they have a better QB and get them at home early.

The offense is going to be dangerous. It all depends on how the new guys on defense do.

On paper we could have the best offense in the SEC with Kelly as our QB and Shea as a backup. The defensive issues are the reason I can't say we are a lock to be a title contender.
