Ole Miss - TCU rematch in Sugar Bowl

according to current CFP rankings.
Obviously Florida could beat Alabama, and Baylor is just one spot behind TCU. If Baylor destroys Texas, is that enough for them to leap TCU and get the Big 12's spot in NOLA?
Also interesting to me. Ohio State and Stanford are waiting for UNC and Florida wins. If Stanford beats USC, I think they would be the fourth team in should one of them out an upset. If Stanford loses, Ohio State would get in the playoff as well as the Michigan State/Iowa winner.
Chaos Scenario: Alabama, Clemson and Stanford all lose their championship games Saturday. That would open up two spots for an 11-1 Ohio State, an 11-1 North Carolina, or 10-2 Notre Dame.
Other New Years 6 games shaping up:
Rose Bowl: Ohio State or the Mich State/Ioser vs. Stanford? If Stanford slips in the playoff, Oregon is in the Rose Bowl.
ACC to Peach Bowl: Florida State over UNC? Interesting.
Non Power 5 team to Fiesta or Peach: Houston/Temple winner
Notre Dame seems to be a lock for one of the at-large spots, as well as the Big Ten championship loser.

Big 12 tie-breakers are different than SEC tie-breakers...it will be baylor (if they beat texas this weekend) or Okie state (if texas beats baylor)

Big 12 tiebreakers have nothing to do with Sugar Bowl selection. Its the top ranked team in the CFP poll not in the playoff. That is TCU right now.

TCU's AD said they have no shot at the Sugar Bowl

Right now, but Baylor has 1 more game to play, before the only ranking that matters comes out.

TCU would go in dry......again.

It'll end up being Baylor in the end

It's Baylor.
Baylor fans, in New Orleans....I'm not sure how that's going to work out.

outside of boykin, name 4 players on TCU's team
(hint: one of them is the 2nd best WR in the nation)

The way Baylor travels to bowl games outside of Texas, there might be 10 of them.

Offhand I can only think of Doctson (sic) who is out for the year.

Not according to all the (admittedly limited) Big 12 sites I've seen - their Sugar Bowl selection is about Big 12 tiebreakers. Ours is about CFP Poll. Each conference can set their own standards.
As folks have said, its Baylor unless they lose to Texas. Then, it would be Oklahoma State. TCU has no chance due to tiebreakers.

Ole Miss is thanking God for that.

So much ignorance
Baylor wins against Texas and we will be in the Sugar Bowl, guaranteed.

Tcu starting qb and wr are all injured or have been , a few of their defensive starters as well
And we don't have Bo wall aces bumb leg and arm, laremy tonsil has two functioning legs and so does treadwell.
As well as a qb who can run and has a rocket arm. I would welcome a rematch. But it's impossible.
We will get Baylor hopefully.
We've played Oklahoma state twice in cotton bowls time for a change

We had to play Mormons after an incredibly disappointing SEC championship. At least Baptist girls are closet freaks. It'll never be easier to get laid in the quarter.
