His only 2 national title games were a pity rematch with Bobby Bowden and the worst defeat in the history of national championship games.
A lot of stuff he's said over the years is funny, no doubt. But in the grand scheme of things, his resume was actually pretty mediocre.

Maybe in 5 years I'll be able to laugh, but it's hard to look at Spurrier and not be reminded of the flaming dumpster fire that our football program has become, largely due to his laziness and misplaced faith in his jackoff of a son.

Meh. I can forgive him because of all things we did that we were told could never happen at SC.
Yeah, he left us in bad shape. But the facilities and other resources that were built / are being built will prove to be solid foundations for the future.

A good friend is a big gator fan & supporter & he's always said that back in Spurrier's prime days at UF, he was at his best in front of boosters' gatherings. He said Spurrier ripped into Fla. St. & Bowden like a stand up comedian. What he said/says in public is nothing like he said at private functions.

Spurrier has been jealous of Saban for awhile now. You shouldn't talk shite when you've lost 62-24 in a national title game.
