Spurrier went out as one of the coaches to have a one game winning streak vs Saban.

That is pretty funny and pretty accurate. Dabo should have been COtY and that he was Spurrier's rival just shows that Spurrier is at least fair in his comments.

Playing a drunken round of golf with Spurrier would have to be the greatest.

As much hell as they gave each other, it turns out they are actually good friends. I read that Dabo and his wife were at the Spurrier's 50th wedding anniversary or something like that.
It doesn't look like that admiration has carried over to Boom, though.

His legacy took a hit the last few years of his career...kind of a bumblin' fumblin' old man.

He was passed up by Nick and Urban. Spurrier is maybe the 5th or 6th best coach in SEC history now.

Swinney and Muschamp do not like each other. I think it goes back to the recruitment of Demarcus Robinson at Florida

It's a funny quip.

The Maxwell folks don't pick the same coach twice in a row, so Swinney wasn't going to win this year. He and Saban should just trade awards.
