What impresses me most is that he's smart enough not to let his ego get in the way of his coaching.
At Florida he had the Fun N Gun, the forerunner to the spread offenses of today. The SEC landscape changed defensively, and he adapted.
In his initial stages at USC, he tried to air it out, but he never had the right pieces to do it successfully, and he adapted accordingly.
Now, he's a ball control coach with a suffocating defense. I get hard ons for defense, and he's a freaking chameleon coach that goes with the flow.
