Seems like more and more that they are going to join the SEC. Who will join them also, would it be a team from the ACC?

Would like for it to be Texas just for the hilarity that would ensue on this board.

You seriously think Arkansas would vote to let Texas in? If so, I think we all know who's going to be laughed at.

Texas "no" votes:

Ole Miss (2013 Longhorn Network Mess)
Texas A&M (obvious)
Georgia (1/state agreement)
South Carolina (1/state agreement)
Kentucky (1/state agreement)
Florida (1/state agreement)
Arkansas (Long thinks Peterson's a moron)
Missouri (The infamous Dodds comment + Loftin is the Chancellor)

That's 8/14 no votes already.

I don't think that Arkansas would mind. The infrastructure of the SEC is strong enough the Texas politics wouldn't bother me. Hell, you guys are here

And besides, Texas wouldn't be able to dodge us any longer if that happened

Oklahoma is not joining the SEC without OK state and Texas. Not gonna happen.

Count me in the UAB camp.

Seriously, OU will bring NOTHING to the table, and we will all end up having to divide the conference pot even more. The TV footprint in Oklahoma is less on par with Arkansas and Mississippi. Virginia and North Carolina schools actually add to the conference pot because of the massive TV footprint.

They couldn't dodge you last winter. 2 yards rushing isn't dodging anyone.

I don't know why anyone would want Oklahoma, they're literally going to be the 4th best team in the BIG12 this year behind TCU, Baylor, Texas and probably WV, they barely recruit from their own state, this one honestly is a head scratcher. Its going to be Nebraska all again.

Drop MSU, drop Vandy (1/state)

Add NCSU, VT, WV, and okay Oklahoma.

I think that 1 state thing is played out a bit. The only reason Florida doesn't want FSU is for recruiting. Why should the rest of the conference worry about keeping Florida on top if bringing in another in state school makes us better as a whole?
