FSU would pass up the SEC, to tough every week. Jimbo would rather stay in the Conf. he is in!

As a matter of fact the longhorn network was on most places I visited. The sec tournament was on and I wanted to watch it. What's hard to believe is that you aggies think you are even close to the tv sets the Longhorns reach. aTm doesn't own Texas, and it's not even close

Well, ratings say we reach more TVs than the longhorns in texas, even in Austin. So...... yeah.

And I seriously doubt you are even a razorback.

Realignment is driven by TV revenue which is driven by state footprints. Adding a team from a state with an existing SEC team adds another to the denominator of the equation without adding much to the numerator.

Kicking us out is not going to get you to Atlanta at the end of the season. You need to kick out some coaches in your program !!!

Drop MSU, drop Vandy (1/state)

Add NCSU, VT, WV, and okay Oklahoma.

State has more baseball and basketball history and money at the table for those sports. More students and alumni. Football is pretty much the same. I doubt you win this battle if we are kicking out one or the other.

I think the conferences will begin thinking about quality of teams added rather than quantity of TV's.

Maybe WAY WAY down the road when cable subscription rates are back at early 80's levels and everyone streams the content they want al a carte I could see that. When people have to pay directly for your channel (instead of it being hidden in the bill) $10+ dollars a month (because not every cable subscriber is paying for it) then suddenly you better be selling a great product. Then the FSUs and Texases are really valuable.

At least 3 very improbable things need to happen before ou would ever get an SEC offer:

1. ou earns AAU accreditation.
2. The combined BOR that run ou and osu splits.
3. The state of Oklahoma has a major increase in population.

The subscription fee for the SEC network is much greater when there is an SEC school in the state. Texas A&M is a $134 million per year SEC network payday, ou is meh.

Looking forward to the season so these insane rumors will be ignored. ou to the SEC isn't happening.
