Yeah, it's true that Auburn improved as the season progressed; however, outside of Missouri, they didn't dominate anyone. There's only one truly remarkable result on Auburn's schedule that's worth bragging about, and that's Missouri—a team that lost in double OT to the best team they faced.

Nobody knows how good Auburn truly is. They were riding a wave. Auburn squeaked by everyone until the SEC Championship, but one game doesn't prove how good your team is.

Our last two images of bama were against Miss St and AU. Why after seeing those two games, are there people who still insist that bama is the best team in the country ?

When's the last time Alabama's offense has looked good the week following the LSU game versus a legitimate team or defense? Scratch that, when's the last time Alabama looked great following the LSU game, win or lose?

Yes. However, our opponent's running back didn't say the we are the best team in the country, so it doesn't count.

Sorry, I'm a little too busy looking up Pasadena restaurant reviews on Urban Spoon to be mad.

Well, there's your first mistake. Californians don't use Urban Spoon.

Gonna be so funny seeing all of the redneck AU fans in CA.

Additionally, Auburn had a number of blown opportunities such as the Ricardo Louis wide open TD catch early on

Wide open opportunities aren't quite the same as field goals. Lots of things a defense does can affect a QB and prevent him from making a pass to a wide open receiver. There's a lot more that goes into a TD than an open receiver. Moreover, Marshall has been a below-average passer all year long. You could probably have that same play happen ten times and he may miss the pass half the time. So it wasn't as bizarre as you make it sound.

then why the frick do you gumps like to talk about your mulligan bowl so much? you rode a wave of luck into the championship game after getting beat at home and per your words, one game doesn't prove how good your team is.

a TD pass that hits a wide open receiver in the hands is a lot worse than a missed fg

By the time LSU played bama, they were not a very good team. If MSU had any QB play, they game could have been very interesting.

I agree. Auburn fought harder than us. We lost. To the victor goes the spoils, as they say.
