Well good thing y'all are in the AAU club...

Best just stay where ya is, claim Vics AGAINST lower rated SEC schools in bowls and regular season games as u can and pound yer bird chest along the way.

I never considered Alabama a lower rated SEC school, but hey you said it not me, personally I feel that devalues Stoops 3 game winning streak against them. We play who the SEC sends to the bowl, in the regular season we have played Alabama, we have played Tennessee, and we will be playing LSU, that is not shrinking away from competition. Not much more that we can do about that. If OU were to join the SEC, and I do not think that likely soon, they would compete a the top level, they will win some and lose some, and the SEC is even stronger. Right now it has two divisions and one is clearly weaker, adding OU could help change that.

It'll only have taken you guys 25 years to finally play us in regular season (The LSU-OU home/home was agreed upon in 2005)

That's assuming you all don't delay it again like the original 2018/2019 dates; I'm sure 2027/2028 will come quick right? Of course if you come to the SEC by then you can't run from us anymore so it won't matter

bearbait09 doesn't know jack shite about how the State of Texas has the endowments allocated. And no, it isn't worth taking the time to explain it to him.

for the 10x claim to be valid the state would have to be allocating 150% of the total system endowment to A&M college station for me to be wrong, so...

bearbait09 has also not been to chokelahoma or he would know that First Nations owns 2/3 of the state and don't pay taxes.

what does this have to do with anything? the state of Oklahoma sucks? I never claimed otherwise. I live in Texas and have no association nor affection for Oklahoma.

yeah right, the schools BOTH agreed to that delay, and if they didn't want to play, neither school would have signed the agreement genius.

Outside of BAMA the SEC is average. What "gauntlet"? The OU, Ohio State, Clemsons, etc. would come in and get 10+ wins easily.

Haven't read the whole thread and don't want to read 8 pages of OU. I just want to say it is true Stoops has done well in the post season against SEC teams. But I don't think he has ever beaten an SEC Champion, nor has he won a playoff game. If just beating the SEC runner up is enough to make OU fans happy, then I think OU is clearly not a top tier program. And Big game Bob should change his name to medium game Bob.

You beat who you get a shot at. He hasn't played a SEC champion since 2008. He's 4-0 vs SEC in that time.

3-0 against BAMA, y'all had the chance to shut him up. You took an L.

So OU is happy with beating the SEC runner up? This is what the mighty OU brags about? Pathetic.

I'd be mad too if my team was 0-3 vs Bob Stoops
