I love the Sugar Bowl being in the Superdome. I would think most Alabama fans have some respect for it, considering how many titles Alabama has won on the field there.

They return the most talent out of any team in the west next year don't they?

Do they?

Not really. Both Alabama and LSU return the same amount of starters. Both lose the same key amount of players, just on different sides of the ball.

For LSU to make the BCSNG next year Les Miles is more than likely going to have to do something he's never done at LSU before and that is finish a season with less than two losses.

I am glad to see someone post this, every time someone calls out Miles on something he hasn't done he then proceeds to accomplish exactly that. Will he? Who knows, but last year it was "He will never beat Saban and Urban in the same year".... done. Then before that, no LSU coach had beaten UF/Bama/AU (pretty sure thats the 3) in the same year.... done... next?

Which has nothing to do with the Dome being 'World Class'

I wasn't huge on the SuperDome.

It was quite the facility when it was originally built and you would have been very impressed at the time.

Now...maybe not so much, but it is significant historically.

Please tell us ALL the facilities which are better than the Superdome

Domes that are better:
Cowboys Stadium
U of Phoenix Stadium
Reliant Stadium
Lucas Oil Stadium

Domes that are just as good:
Georgia Dome
Edward Jones Dome

Outdoor venues?

The list goes on for a while...

FedEx Field
Qwest Field
Lambeau Field
Soldier Field
Invesco Field
Cleveland Stadium
Paul Brown Stadium
Raymond James Stadium

I will stop now...it's the location of the game that is the reason for its existence...

Hard to compare college stadiums to pro stadiums. College stadiums are dressed up because of financial reasons and the tradition involved with the game. Was there a riot when Three Rivers or the Vet were knocked down? No. But you bet your arse there would be one in Ann Arbor, Columbus, or even BR if they took a wrecking ball to those venues. It's all about the on-campus/near campus locations, and the whole college experience.

A nice college stadium isn't about wide concourses and comfy seats, because that is just something that probably isn't going to happen.

It seems like being undefeated is the only way to secure a trip to the BCSNCG.. I just dont see LSU doing it.. They have a hiccup every year.

LSU's schedule next year will allow them for 1 slip up and still make it to the NCG

Good point. There is a good chance he will, you know Les Miles has NEVER had a losing season at LSU!
