Would you want OSU there again if it plays out that way?

If we deserve it at the end of the season, why not? I had a great time in NO in 2007.

I think it is more of NOLA and what it offers in general more than the facility.

Sure. That's why we've hosted the 2nd most Super Bowls out of any venue and will tie Miami with another one coming up in a few years.

It's not our fault your shitty state has NOTHING to offer. We have a world class facility that just happens to be 90 miles up the road.

The Shoe > The Dome, easily. It just so happens that one lives where it's pretty damn cold in January while the other is a Dome in warm weather.

Another world class venue. Nothing to do with it being South Beach or Nawlins...just the world class venues.

Which is why it's better than the shoe for a BCSCG.

But yea, the winner of the Alabama-LSU game is gonna have a hell of a time in NOLA celebrating.

LSU/Bama winner vs Oklahoma for all the marbles IMO.

Exactly why the Superbowl shouldn't be played up north either. Could you imagine if the game had to be moved to another date because of weather?

Mkay, cool. Times change, bud. Jerryworld, Fiesta Bowl (Phoenix Stadium), and the Orange Bowl off the top of my head would be considered "world class".

Btw, i was responding to LSUdm

Which has nothing to do with the Dome being 'World Class'

Honestly, I didn't really enjoy the Dome in 07. Loved New Orleans and Tiger fans, but I wasn't huge on the SuperDome.

Please tell us ALL the facilities which are better than the Superdome { other than jerryword of course}. You do realize that there have been over $ 225 mil. in improvements/upgrades either installed or currently being installed !
And don't come back with a site as lame as the GA dome, metrodome,St. L. Ed jones dome etc....they are ALL inferior to the renovated Superdome.
Please impress us with your knowledge !!

The Dome is currently undergoing about $100 million worth of renovations. It's already had a bunch of things done since Katrina. They're building a fan's zone right outside of it. They're going to have a "Sports fan zone" with bars, clubs, restaurants, etc. right next door. It's a world class facility in a world class city.

For LSU to make the BCSNG next year Les Miles is more than likely going to have to do something he's never done at LSU before and that is finish a season with less than two losses.

Just wondered. Some folks have issues with the same teams playing in the same games more than once in 5 years. I could care less as long as we are in THAT game.

They're both pieces of shite when compared to some of the other stadiums that have been built.

You've got to be kidding OR blind...have you even been to the Superdome in the past year ? The GA dome pales in comparison !

Personally, I prefer my games played outdoors. But, JerryWorld does look pretty fricking nice.
